Travelling with reduced mobility
The passenger´s terminal is all on one floor and there are toilets for people with reduced mobility in the check-in hall and the departure/arrival hall. Wheel chairs are available at both departure and arrival. We offer assistance to and from the aircrafts as well as carrier help.
On July 28, 2008 a new EU regulation was introduced which means that the responsibility for giving assistance to people with reduced mobility at the airports is transferred from the airline companies to the airports. A request for assistance should be sent to the airport at least 36 hours in advance. The passenger should notify the airport of his/her arrival at the airport´s pick-up point at least an hour before departure.
There are special pick-up points at Örebro Airport, both inside and outside the airport. Our pick-up points are outside the entrance, outside the arrival hall (at the taxi counter) and at the counter. The pick-up points are well signposted.
Arrival and departure times are available on our TV monitors that are found in several locations at the airport.
