A brief presentation
Örebro Airport is owned by Örebro Flygplats AB which is an affiliate completely owned by Länstrafiken Örebro AB. The airport opened in 1979 and has since been an important resource for the region. In 1982 the international scheduled airline service started and in 1995 the chartered air service was established. 1996 was the starting point for the air cargo services and Örebro Airport is now the fourth largest cargo airport in Sweden.
